After a successful inaugural year in 2001, the "Sounds of Pride" marching band field show returns for its second annual event on Sunday, September 15. The show is presented by the Blaine Bengals Marching Band and is held at the stadium on the Blaine HS campus. This event is uniquely timed to coincide with the nearby Champlin Park HS competition which is held the day prior. Both schools are part of School District 11 and it's just a short drive between the contest sites. These back-to-back events allow competing bands as well as spectators to enjoy a complete weekend of colorful competition.
