Brooklyn Park Tater Daze Parade
TATER DAZE PARADE
Thursday, June 28, 2001
7:00 PM
Brooklyn Park, Minnesota

The 2001 Brooklyn Park Tater Daze Parade will feature 13 high school marching bands on parade beginning at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 28.

Trophies and $3,000 of prize money are awarded to the top bands in three classes plus the overall Grand Champion. The parade limits band entries to 12 competitors plus the host band to ensure the evening parade ends before dark.

The 1.2-mile parade route follows Brookdale Drive west from Noble Avenue, and turns north on Zane Avenue to Candlewood Drive before ending at Hamilton Park. Band judging takes place four blocks from the start of the parade on Brookdale Drive near Quail Avenue.

Regent Avenue offers parking close to the judging area. You can access Regent Avenue from either the east or the west off either Brooklyn Boulevard (which connects to Highways 169 and 694) or 85th Avenue North (which connects to Highways 169 and 252).
