The Dobyns-Bennett Band Boosters and the Kingsport Convention and
Visitors Bureau invite your band to participate in the third annual
Tennessee Valley Showcase Marching Band Competition. The partnership
between the KCVB and the Dobyns-Bennett Band Boosters and the support of
the City of Kingsport ensures your band will have a great experience
and a large crowd for your performance.
The event offers the atmosphere of a local competition with the judging panel of a regional or national event. The date of October 17th makes the Tennessee Valley Showcase a great opportunity to receive a first class evaluation at a date early enough to improve your show before the remainder of your season. Kingsport is an ideal place for a band competition with convenient and affordable accommodations and amenities. Your band will experience world-renowned hospitality, which has become a standard for events hosted in Kingsport. 2009 Results
