Four years ago the Youth In Music Championships were just a dream and an idea. In those years the YIM Championships have grown from 9 to 20 bands and 1,400 to 6,000 in attendance. The YIM Championships have quickly become one of the premier marching band events in the Midwest.

For 2008 the event promises to be even bigger and better, with more bands, more fans, and more of the little things that make the YIM Championships unique.

   Class Championships: $10 Students, $15 General Admission, $25 Reserved
   Upper Midwest Regional: $15 General Admission, $25 Reserved

Youth In Music prides itself on providing a unique experience for participating band members and band directors.
• Band directors enjoy a complimentary dinner along with skybox seating during the competition.
• Band members have a great time interacting with members of other bands during the dinner break while they play on the Metrodome Turf listening to live music.

The event date is determined by the Metrodome schedule. Whenever possible, the intent is to hold the Youth In Music Championships on the last weekend of October.
