Tournament of Roses "Bandfest" Schedule

Three shows over two days feature field exhibitions by Rose Parade bands

The 2008 Tournament of Roses Bandfest featured a performance by the Royal British Legion Youth Band Brentwood. PASADENA, Calif. (Dec. 15, 2010) — Marching bands appearing in the 2011 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1 will also perform field exhibitions in the annual Tournament of Roses "Bandfest" presented by Remo on December 29-30, 2010.

Each performance of Bandfest features a different slate of seven to eight marching bands and lasts approximately two hours. The first performance will be held Wednesday, December 29 at 2:00 PM. Two additional performances will be held Thursday, December 30 at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Bandfest is held in Pasadena at Robinson Stadium on the campus of Pasadena City College, 1570 E. Colorado Blvd.

Tickets to the event are $15 each and may be purchased in advance through Sharp Seating Company at 626-795-4171. Same day tickets go on sale approximately one hour prior to the start of each show.

For the first time, the Tournament of Roses Bandfest will be available as a live webcast. Click image to view larger version. New this year, Bandfest will be available as a live webcast. The cost to view the webcast is $8.50 for one show or $21.00 for all three shows. Viewers can elect to donate a portion of their webcast ticket purchase to the school band of their choice. The complete Bandfest schedule and approximate performance time for each band is shown below. Pre-show entertainment presented by Remo begins 30 minutes before each show time.

The Pasadena Tournament of Roses is a volunteer organization that annually hosts the Rose Parade® presented by Honda, Rose Bowl Game® presented by VIZIO and various associated events. The 122nd Rose Parade themed Building Dreams, Friendships & Memories will take place Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at 8 a.m. (PST) featuring majestic floral floats, high-stepping equestrian units and spirited marching bands. Following the Rose Parade, the 97th Rose Bowl Game presented by VIZIO will kick off at 2:10 p.m. (PST) and feature an exciting match-up between two of the top collegiate football teams in the nation.
