World-class drum and bugle corps performances motivate students

Band directors can expose their students to powerful marching programs presented by drum and bugle corps during this year's Drum Corps International
summer tour. Groups ordering 25 or more tickets qualify for ticket discounts, and select events will feature pre-show educational clinics.
As an added bonus, groups that place their ticket orders by June 15 will receive a free chaperone ticket for every 15 tickets purchased. To take advantage of this offer, download the group ticket order form at
www.dci.org/tickets/groups.
DCI's 2009 summer tour includes more than 100 events in 41 states, putting at least one corps show within driving distance for most high school marching bands. The tour begins June 19 with events in Pennsylvania and Illinois, and ends with World Championships Finals in Indiana on August 8.

"Attending a 2009 Drum Corps International summer tour event keeps students engaged through the summer," said John DeNovi, director of
business development for DCI. "It's a great way for a high school director to reward student leaders, inspire excellence, jump start a
band camp and celebrate participation in marching music with administrators, students and their families."
Select events on the summer tour will feature pre-show clinics that allow students to get up close and personal with top instructors and
performers from some of DCI's top corps. Check DCI.org for details.
