Minnesota's Biggest Summer Marching Band Competition

Winnipeg, Manitoba

Founded in 1951 by John Service, the Winnipeg Heather-Belle Pipe Band is a unique mixture of talented female pipers and drummers. The Heather-Belles have built a strong tradition of loyalty and dedication as many of its members have participated in the band for more than 15 years.
With performances throughout Canada, the United States, and Scotland, the Heather-Belles have become well-known and respected in international circles. The band's wide variety of appearances include the Canadian Ladies' Curling Championships, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade and the World's Fair. In addition, the Heather-Belles also provided pipe backup for music legend Paul McCartney in 1993.
