136th Rose Parade on January 1 celebrates the "Best Day Ever!"
PASADENA, Calif. (Dec. 26, 2024) The 2025
Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade promises another fantastic lineup of colorful floats, top-notch marching bands and majestic equestrian units beginning at 8:00 AM (Pacific) on Wednesday, January 1.
This year's lineup features 24 marching bands, including entries from Denmark, Japan, Mexico and Panama, plus U.S. states from coast to coast.
The theme "Best Day Ever!" was chosen by Tournament of Roses President Ed Morales.
"The 2025 theme celebrates life's best moments those unexpected times that bring a smile, warm our hearts and fill us with joy," Morales said.
"From a once-in-a-lifetime experience to the simplest pleasures, each is indelibly etched into our memory."
Morales chose Billie Jean King, legendary tennis pro and longtime champion for social justice and equality, as the 2025 Grand Marshal.
The Rose Parade will be broadcast on ABC, Great American Family, KTLA, NBC, RFD-TV and Univision. The parade can also be streamed on Christmas Plus, Fubo and Pluto TV.
Curbside viewing is free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pasadena city ordinance allows curbside space along the parade route to be occupied
no earlier than noon on the day before the parade. Reserved grandstand seating is available through Sharp Seating Company at 626-795-4171.
