The 2011 Rose Parade featured entries from several first-time float sponsors, including DOLE Food Company which won the Sweepstakes Award for its tropical garden titled "Living Well In Paradise."
HGTV — which has televised the parade for years but had never entered a float — earned the Isabella Coleman Trophy for best presentation of color and color harmony with "HGTV Dream Home 2011."
