A crowd of nearly 10,000 spectators packed the Saddledome for a spectacular evening of international marching competition. The World Association of Marching Show Bands (WAMSB) World Championships Finals featured bands from Sweden, Denmark, Thailand, Germany, Taiwan, Canada and the United States.
Grand Champion honors went to the Calgary Stampede Showband, scoring 94.9 with its world-class program honoring the 100th Anniversary of the Calgary Stampede. All of the ensembles are pictured here in order of appearance. Also see
