A total of 109 marching bands from 22 states participated in the 2014 Bands of America Grand National Championships. After two days of prelims that featured 94 competing bands, 35 bands advanced to the semi-finals contest. Twelve bands advanced to finals where Tarpon Springs H.S. (Florida) claimed its first championship title. Creative costuming, innovative show concepts and fantastic musical performance were noted among the advancing bands.
