(July 5-8, 2019, Calgary, Alberta)
The 2019 World Association of Marching Showbands (WAMSB) Championships returned to Canada for the first time since 2012 and was once again held in
conjunction with the spectacular Calgary Stampede celebration. Multiple contests were held over four days, including field prelims and finals competitions
which drew large crowds into the Saddledome. Grand Champion honors went to the Calgary Stampede Showband (score 94.8333) with runner-up honors going to
Chien Kuo High School from Taiwan (score 93.8889). All 13 units from the field contest are pictured here in order of placement, including 11 competing
